In 2004, me and my wife moved into a house from 1956. As believers in ghosts, we paid attention when small unexplained events started happening. At first, it was a vase falling off the fridge and a chair moving with phone books on it. Later, I heard constant clicking or tapping sounds on recordings while we were out, but not when we were home.
We named this ghost „lazy“ because its activity came in bursts and then disappeared for long periods. However, during marital strife, the ghost became more active, targeting my wife with loud noises like crashes and doors slamming, even pushing her down the stairs multiple times.
I decided to confront the ghost in our crawlspace, telling it not to harm my family. Since then, there have been no physical incidents, but the ghost moved its activity to our newborn son’s room, throwing objects around.
The most violent event happened when I was away due to fighting with my wife. My wife saw a little boy’s face in a picture frame and a knife was thrown at her by an unseen force.
A ghost investigation group didn’t capture any evidence, but the activity ceased as we worked on our marriage and reduced negative energy. I had a dream where I banished a frightening ghost using Jesus Christ’s name. Since then, our house has remained quiet with no further paranormal events.
In summary, my family and I experienced unexplained phenomena in our home over several years. After addressing the negative energy present in our lives, the activity decreased significantly, leading us to believe that the ghost may have been feeding off of this energy.
